I had been living in shelters, with friends and on the street for the past seventeen years. My life was filled with drugs, alcohol, endless loveless relationships and most of all, rejection. I have three children whom I hardly know and they were living with family while my life was out of control. I needed help desperately and I was so happy when I was accepted at Hannah House. Thanks to God and Hannah House, I have a future today. I have finally found direction for my life and at last I have hope. Here, I had the opportunity to focus on getting my life together and I was able to accomplish things that before I only dreamed about. I am now employed full time in a career I have chosen. I have my own apartment and my children will be returned to my custody very soon. I am alive and successful today because of the people who made this place available.
